The short version

MarshEQcollects nothing. The app has no analytics, no accounts, no telemetry, and never records or transmits your audio. This website is cookieless. That's the whole policy — the rest is detail.

The app

• MarshEQ processes your system audio locally, in real time, on your Mac. Audio is never recorded to disk and never leaves your machine.
• The System Audio Recording permission exists because macOS requires it for any app that processes sound other apps play. It grants live processing access — MarshEQ does not store or transmit anything it hears.
• Your presets and settings are stored locally on your Mac. Your license key is stored in the macOS Keychain.
• License activation contacts the Dodo Payments licensing API to validate your key. The request contains your license key and no personal data beyond it.
• Update checks (Sparkle) fetch a version manifest from https://marsheq.app. No identifying information is sent.

This website

• No cookies, no trackers, no advertising scripts.
• Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Payment details go directly to Dodo and never touch our servers — see the Dodo Payments privacy policy.
